Established in May 2001 as an Electrical Engineering Contracting, Automation and Service/Refurbishment Company, it operates throughout the country, from Gaborone West Industrial Site. The company is equipped with a comprehensive range of crane trucks, rigging gear, Overhead line plant, Building Services installation equipment complete with testing systems (i.e. electrical and  mechanical equipment), Electrical Machines Refurbishment workshop fully equipped, giving ZISMO the flexibility to take on small and large contracts with expertise and skill.

The core philosophy of the company is to build a base of electrical engineering, resource and facility management expertise in Botswana, SADC Region and SUB-SAHARA AFRICA market at large. The company has opened an office in Lusaka in February 2011.

ZISMO attributes its solid growth in the construction industry to the high standards of resource management, workmanship and service excellence, which has earned the company respect from the market. ZISMO Engineering provides all necessary guarantees, relevant insurances including but not limited to Workmans’ Compensation and Contractors All Risk to cover employees and contractors works (i.e. damage due to Floods, Subsidence of land, theft or malicious damage, Electrical and mechanical breakdown of explosion, any other cause)  & public liability (i.e. loss or damage to property due to Public Service, use of explosives, any other cause).

The Office

The size of the office and workshop floor space is in excess of 1040m2.We have sufficient Storage space for weather sensitive equipment in the form of workshops and 6 m Containers both at our offices and on sites.

The Staff

ZISMO brings together a team of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Foremen, Technicians, Electricians, Linesmen, Boiler Makers, Armature Winders, Administration staff etc. The company employs over 150 staff.
